DXmaps was founded in 2009 after I tried to locate an up to date good quality Prefix map for myself, all the maps I looked at were either out of date, poor quality or not the size that I required, so early in 2008 I decided to create one myself, it took around 12 months of late nights to perfect the prefix map using GIS software, I did have a full time job so I only worked on this project when time allowed, they finally went to print in June 2009.
Our maps are updated as and when required to ensure they are current, all other maps were produced after other radio amateurs who had previously purchased one of our prefix maps asked me if I had or could produce a great circle map, so that prompted me to create a map which was centred on the UK.
This was quickly followed by a European locator map and then a custom great circle map which was centred on the amateurs exact location.
We have sold our maps all over the world, our success is echoed by amateurs from all parts of the world.
